Threat without DNSSEC

A DNS lookup can be imitated so that a visitor lands on a different page, even though they typed the correct doomännamn. It can also affect emails, which can be redirected to someone else's email account. It is possible to use DNSSEC to make sure that visitors are not misdirected or that sensitive information does not fall into the wrong hands .

Secure domains

DNSSEC ensures that the information being transmitted is correct. It checks that the keys that are to the registry for the TLD, verifies them, and links visitors to the right website. If the key is incorrect, the visitor is notified that the domain name has been hijacked.
